Hearing Aids
Different hearing aids cater to varying degrees of hearing loss, from mild to moderate, to more significant levels.
Middle Ear Implants
Depending on the specific device, middle ear implants may be indicated for a variety of hearing losses: sensorineural, conductive, or mixed.
Bone Conduction Devices
Indicated for conductive and mixed hearing losses. These devices bypass hearing problems by sending sound vibrations directly to the inner ear through your skull bone.
Cochlear Implants
Designed for severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss, cochlear implants can be beneficial when hearing aids are no longer effective, or when hearing in only one ear.
Hearing loss and how it impacts your life is personal and each experience is unique. The patients below share why they chose the Esteem fully* implanted active middle ear implant (FI-AMEI) and how it impacted their lives.
*Once activated, the external Esteem Personal Programmer is not required for daily use.

" My Esteem implant brought me out of a quiet world and drew me into an active, fulfilling retirement. I took flying lessons at the age of 60 and now, at the age of 71 I can still recreationally fly my plane.

"One of the most appealing things about the Esteem implant is that it is fully implantable without any external components. Being able to keep my device on at night provides a safety net so I can hear 24/7".
